Iowa - Don’t allow the media to manipulate you and take away your power to pick the next POTUS.

BACHMANN CAN WIN!!   SHE HAS WON -  7 TIMES ! One primary against an entrenched Republican - 6 generals (2 being 3 way contest)

DM Register1 reported she unseated a fellow Republican who had held his Minnesota Senate seat since 1972 for 28 years2 and went on to defeat the a democrat and an independent in a 3-way election - Tough!

After redistricting, 2002 she defeated another incumbent3 in a newly drawn district - Tough! 2002.

In 2006, she defeated two opponents4 to win her seat in Congress5.

In 2010, Bachmann was Pelosi’s #1 target6 holding her seat in the nation’s most expensive congressional race 7

Not to mention she was the first woman from MN elected to congress8 and the first woman to win the Ames Straw Poll9

When 'off' the campaign trail and talking to ordinary Iowans who I see at the grocery store or a restaurant, I often hear the variety of reasons why they are NOT going to bother voting. Usually they're irritated with a bloated government, corrupt politicians, excessive taxation, and intrusive government whether it's Obama care, gun restrictions, or monitoring of our citizens' private lives.

Their solution - to become total slaves and surfs by refusing to be a part of the system at all.
Wow, from the pilgrims to our Founding Fathers, our ancestors have had to fight to survive. We have it probably the 'easiest' of any people on the face of the globe - and these folks are giving up the liberties that those before us died to gain and those around the globe are still dying for a chance to taste? Seriously?

I am sorry, hope not to lose any friends, but I must respond. If one of my friends knowingly gave a thief access to my home or knew someone was stealing from me and refused to stop it - I would be fairly direct. Therefore, I must be in this case as well because that is exactly what is happening when we allow government to take our liberties without so much as a minuscule resistance. It is utterly shameful.

First off, I don't profess to be a writer. Second, I don't have much time to write, so here it is, raw and unedited. Criticize me if you like, but I must get back in the battlefield of our future.

So, here is my reply to one of my 'old friends.' It applies to all of you who are astute enough to realize our system is imperfect. Most of you will not take the time to read this reply, either way, I will have done my part. Your reaction or inaction is up to you - and like our Founding Fathers, I believe you will be held accountable, and frankly, I hope you are.

Appreciate your thoughts. This is exactly why you should vote on Tuesday and frankly, if you do not - you are part of the problem. I am not a 'player." I am simply involved and because of my diligence I am now working closely with a presidential candidate - what a great country still. Even with its problems, anyone can help make a difference. We vote to retain our freedom or give it away.

Having carefully reviewed and investigated the candidates I got behind Bachmann and ended up working with her. The more time I spend with her, her children, and her husband I am convinced she IS one of us and she is exactly what America needs. She is truly the Margaret Thatcher we need today.

Perhaps you missed the Drake debate when she shared shopping at consignment stores or clipping coupons because they still watch their pennies.

She raised five children and 23 foster children - not because she is 'power hungry' as you describe politicians, but because she wanted to improve their lives. She traveled the state on her own dime, not because she was campaigning, but because she was a mom and saw problems with the education system - because of her efforts MN doesn't have some of the federal mandates the rest of the states are forced to endure.

So, as a fellow citizen who must remain involved because our Republic will only survive with the participation of the people, I ask you to do your duty. I agree with your analysis and implore you all the more to review and evaluate. I also tell you MIchele Bachmann is the only candidate of either party who has not voted for rediculous bailouts, raising the debt ceiling, or denying us our liberties with intrusive policies. Nor has she made an endorsement for political or personal gain.

MIchele Bachmann is possibly this nation's last chance to remain a free Republic. Once Obama care sets in, it will be very difficult to remove and we will be a socialist nation. If you think politicians are corrupt now - just wait. You already see the public sector (government) employees) moving away from private sector employees with greater wages, benefits, and perks. Another sign of a communist society. Bachmann does not display a 'serve me' attitude, she serves to help others, which is exactly what Jesus said a leader must have.

So, while I understand your frustration - I cannot condone your lack of participation. Frankly, you know better. Your summation of the political arena has merit, but can only exist with the absence of voters who care enough to stop it.

There is a reason the media refuses to allow Bachmann any gain. It is because the 'players' don't want her elected. All the more reason the voters must ensure she is the one that is.

America is facing threats from across the sea and here at home. She is the only candidate serving on the House Intelligence Committee who receives reports on national security and global threats, because believe you me...if we don't protect ourselves from hostile nations and defend our borders, we won't get a chance to fix the problems we have inside them.

Think it through, - your future and mine is unfortunately resting on your refusal to do your small part and fight for our freedom.

Your refusal to participate could be selfish if not arrogant in thinking you are 'above' a system you see as corrupt. Perhaps you fear making the wrong decision, listen, just as in a medical emergency - you do what you can though you're not a doctor. Failure to trust yourself to vote right does not alleviate your responsibility.

Vote - Tuesday - I will tell you I've done my research and I voting BACHMANN, she is one of us and frankly, it's time we send a hard-working woman with Iowa values to the White House. It'll take a mom to clean up the mess we're in. Bachmann isn't a politician she's a person - paying her own way and running to help us have the opportunity to do the same.

I would like to take this moment to introduce all the 'pro-life with exceptions' folks to my 'exceptional' friend, Juda Myers. She's the 1% you all say it's ok to kill because there aren't very many of them.

See, Juda was conceived in rape. A gang rape, actually. Thankfully her mother refused to punish Juda with the death penalty for the sins of her father. So, whether it's 1% or just one baby, understand, killing an innocent life isn't an exception it's inexcusable!

Life is Life, endowed by our Creator - no matter how it is conceived. Juda is indeed an exception in that she is alive when so many supposed 'pro-lifers' think it'd be ok to kill babies like her.

Would it be ok to kill Juda today, as an adult, simply because she was forcibly conceived? So, why then, would anyone say it's ok to kill her just because she was small, defenseless, and waiting to be born? Unless, these exceptions aren't about rape as much as they're about masking murder. Please no more exceptions. No excuses!
