GUEST:
Bob Knight Senior Writer/News Correspondent for
Coral Ridge Ministries Media and Senior Fellow at the American Civil Rights Union
UPDATE:
HR 1388 - dangerous legislation forcing all youth to be committed to a 'training camp' for a period of time while essentially being indoctrinated with views that may directly oppose the training and values parents have carefully instilled in their children for 18 years. Brannon Howse reports there are no religious activity or worship services will be permitted during the training period.
CALL US SENATORS AND YOUR CONGRESSMAN or CONGRESSWOMAN EVERYDAY UNTIL THIS BILL DIES: DC SWITCHBOARD 202-224-3121
TOPIC: Fairness Doctrine, Justice Dept. nominees/appointees, HR 1388 "Mandatory Volunteerism" and what Americans can do concerning each of these issues.
Bob shares his views on recent Justice Department nominees from the new Obama Administration and other headlines including Knight’s own ‘new position’ with Coral Ridge.
Bob reports the Fairness Doctrine is still a threat and explains listeners can go to
The American Civil Rights Union, NOT the ACLU - the ACRU, and sign a petition to stop this dangerous legislation that will simply silence conservatives on talk radio. The bill in no way works to correct the liberal bias in mainstream media news, broadcast TV, print media, or even the liberal subtleties in TV sitcoms and dramas through story lines and character assassination of conservatives or Christians.
Bob speaks to the Department of Justice nominees and their activist work. You've heard little if any objection or even reporting of their past work by the mainstream media:
David Ogden to be the U.S. Deputy Attorney General who has repeatedly represented the pornography industry and its interests.
Elena Kagan to serve as Solicitor General has worked to ban the military from recruiting on campus.
Dawn Johnson, nominated to serve as Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel, has gone to great lengths to challenge pro-life provisions, including parental consent and notification laws.
Thomas Pirelli, nominated to serve as Associate Attorney General, has failed to affirm and protect the dignity of all human life by working as advocate for euthanasia.

C-Span archive of Sen. Inhofe - R - OK in the U. S. Senate speaking to the activist work of these nominees, calling them extremists. March 11, 2009
